Next in line to receive the surgery is Mrs. Sharmilla S (Akkaraipattu, Sri Lanka), who has been diagnosed with the heart illness when she was 9 years old. Now she is 25 and is a mother of a 2 year old. She has been on the government's list awaiting a free surgery for some time as her family couldn't afford it through a private hospital.
